TC: Configuring the time interval at which drafts are saved

Confluence automatically saves your changes as you make them. The following information is only for those occasions when collaborative editing is temporarily unavailable. For those times, you can configure Confluence's draft saving interval.

When collaborative editing isn't enabled, Confluence saves a draft of your page once every thirty seconds. Confluence administrators can configure how often drafts are saved.

As a Confluence administrator, you can set the time interval at which drafts are saved as follows:

1. Select Settings in the Confluence sidebar

2. Click Further Configuration in the left-hand panel

3. Edit the setting for Draft Save Interval
